Website Accessibility

What is web accessibility?

Web accessibility provides the means by which people with disabilities are able to successfully make use of web sites, tools and technologies and specifically understand, navigate, and interact with web-based content.

Web accessibility initiatives are a natural expansion of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), bringing real-world accommodations to the digital world.

Just as we all benefit from the ADA – and take many of those benefits for granted, accessible websites benefit everybody.

In 2018, the DOJ declared websites are places of public accommodation, and are therefore subject to ADA requirements.

Why make your website accessible?

Inclusiveness / Addressing Community Needs

It’s a smart business decision to make your site and programming reach a larger audience.

Legal Liabilities / Reduce Risk of Lawsuits

It’s the law. If you don’t do anything to make your site accessible, you face a significant risk of being sued.

How do I make my site accessible?

You can reach out to your web developer to make changes, but they probably won’t be able to guarantee you are in compliance.

You can hire a specialized firm to audit your site and make the necessary changes. They’ll guarantee your site is WCAG 2.1 compliant – until you make any changes to it – and the service could easily cost $10,000 or more.

You can use a free tool on your site. It won’t get you fully compliant, but it will show you’re making an effort and will hopefully help you avoid a lawsuit.

Or choose a better way

We are pleased to offer a solution that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and a widget to guarantee your site is WCAG 2.1 compliant — and that it stays that way even after you make changes.

You also get a monthly audit report and an Accessibility Statement that describes your compliance to visitors.

Pricing starts at just $490/year.

(If that sounds expensive, think how much getting hit with a lawsuit would cost)

There’s even a 7-day free trial

We’re happy to answer any questions you may have and we can even provide you with a free audit of your site so you’ll know how close to compliance your site is now.

There’s no obligation. Just use the form below to contact us, or call / text your information to 973-826-0111.
